Logis Hôtel le Cadusia

“We stayed at La Cardusia for the first time earlier this month on our way to Spain and it was a wonderful discovery! We will definitely go back next time we pass through France. The room was very comfortable and the beds were so good that, along with the total peace and quiet, we overslept the next morning for the first time in ages. We had a great meal at the restaurant the night before and we were very happy with both the price there and of the room. But the best bit was meeting Frederic. We all know that the style, attitude and friendliness of the staff can make all the other things about your stay even better and that was absolutely true here. We have never had such a warm welcome at any hotel in France as we got here from Frederic. His English is superb to the point that he made us laugh with his sense of humour and his ability to communicate that to non French speakers. The following morning after getting good local advice from Frederic, we felt we were saying goodbye to a friend. This hotel is a brilliant example of the best of Logis hotels and we can’t wait to stay there again.”

“We stayed overnight on a journey South. Chaource was a new stop for us. The village was lovely especially the church - well worth a visit. The hotel was everything a good Logis should be. The room was comfortable with excellent bedding. The soundproofing is exceptional so it was really quiet. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. We had gambas and tuna to start and both of us had daurade. I had a dessert. All dishes were excellent and the portions were generous. The service was good but they felt under pressure so a little slow. Breakfast was outstanding both in choice and quality. Totally recommended!”

“We stopped here while traveling through France and we normally stay in Logis hotels but Le Cadusia was particularly good, I would say higher quality than other Logis Hotels. Easy access, free and large parking, brand new rooms perfectly cleaned with a nice view over the fields. Bedding and pillow new and comfortable allowing a nice sleep. Big plus is the hospitality from the reception to the restaurants where we had a pleasant dinner with local products. Breakfast as well is all freshly made and all with local products. Overall for a 1-night stay was a very good choice with a great value-for-money! Really recommended!”
